Professional Program Assistant- KCKPD Victim Services

As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility. Responsibilities include: Providing advocacy services to victims of crime seeking protection orders, assisting victims with completing and processing Protection From Abuse and Protection From Stalking paperwork, screening victims and applications for emergency status, conducting safety planning with all victims seeking protection orders, and collaborating with court personnel to ensure access of services to victims, making referrals to social service agencies as necessary.…
