Job Description PURPOSE The Foreperson is responsible for the direct supervision of assigned industrial production lines. Must know blown film basics, troubleshooting, extruder drives, heaters and controls. The Foreperson knows how the start- up and shutdown production lines. He is responsible for packer compliance with established safety, quality, quantity, housekeeping and disciplinary standards. RESPONSIBILITIES · Review production orders in a start-up production, run and shut down of equipment. · Responsible for all processes, equipment and packers on assigned lines. · Must meet production, quality and quantity standards. · Assures proper set ups and quality checks are being performed. · Organizes work for smooth operations.…
