Metallurgical Engineering Specialist

In this role, you will: - Be a primary problem solver and solution implementor to improve the overall manufacturing process and eliminate waste, including: - reduce process losses (unplanned and planned scrap) - improve operational capacity - reduce cost - reduce customer product claims - Drive improvements at multiple organizational levels, including working with operations on the manufacturing shop floor. - Facilitate process and product problem solving efforts such as trial DOE development and management, data collection and analysis, Gemba Walks, and Kaizens. - Implement systems to capture and retain gains, capture institutional knowledge, and enable continuous improvement. - Work safely and support location EHS improvement efforts.
