DEPARTMENT Planning & Development Services SALARY $61,733.50 - $77,166.85 JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision, provides technical support to supervisors, plans examiners, and inspectors in electrical/plumbing/mechanical trade-specific code interpretation, permitting and administration, and electrical/plumbing/mechanical field inspection practices; performs related work as required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform specialty inspections, as well investigating and issuing stop work orders if construction is observed to be non-compliant with approved plans/codes or is deemed unsafe.
