Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Scheduling and Financial Clearance Team Lead to join our team in Louisville, KY The Team Leads provide support and training for Financial Clearance Center Staff. This includes initial training for new hires as well as ongoing training for current staff. The Team Leader acts as a resource for questions and support regarding current workflows. This is a working support position and is also responsible for completing financial clearance prior to point of service. Duties for this position include: obtain and validate orders, insurance verification, obtaining prior authorizations from insurance companies, compliance, pre-service estimates, payment plans, Medicaid referrals and charity pre-screening.…
