Job Profile Summary The purpose of the job is to serve as a first responder who provides emergency and non-emergency public safety services to the Broward College community. Responsible for fostering a safe and secure environment and acting as a deterrent to crime and unsafe behaviors through a variety of proactive patrol techniques/strategies and crime prevention/awareness measures. Responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal laws, and college policies and procedures. Investigates, responds to, and documents crimes, disturbances, and other public safety-related incidents occurring at Broward College. Performs related work as directed.…
