SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, repairs and performs routine maintenance to hospital machinery and equipment, such as patient stretchers, wheel chairs, wheeled carts and equipment, laundry equipment, motor vehicles, and power operated doors. Repairs and fabricates machinery and equipment parts. Performs a variety of duties to temporarily replace or assist trades and craft personnel in maintenance, repair and construction work; monitor physical plant and perform maintenance functions alone on evening, night and weekend shifts and perform duties relating to tool and materials management as assigned. Is part of the snow team; removes snow using a shovel, snow blower, snow plow, and small engine powered pushers and loaders.…
