About this role
Job Description: Operator (Captain of Record) of Calvert Marine Museum’s 65-foot passenger excursion vessels during regularly scheduled cruises and special charters. The Captain of Record is assigned to one of the historic vessel Wm. B. Tennison or Dee of St. Mary’s, docked at Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons, Maryland, which transits local waters of the Patuxent River and its tributaries. Captain is supervised by CMM Director or his designee. Essential Job Functions Operates vessel on all regularly scheduled public cruises or private charters, during the season, May – October. Ensures safe operation of vessel at all times in accordance with all applicable U.S. Coast Guard and Maryland Marine Police regulations.…
