About this role
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Assistant maintains, repairs and refurbishes elements of the camp’s physical environment to protect the health and safety of the campers and staff. The Maintenance Assistant will support a wide variety of operations related to facilities management and maintenance, including but not limited to: grounds keeping, moving and storage, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, small motor repair, fire safety, sanitation, pest control and housekeeping. The Maintenance Assistant may also provide support to program staff. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years support staff though J1 agency Able to lift 25 pounds unassisted, climb and work from ladders, and be comfortable with heights.…
