Location SAINT LOUIS, MO 63110 Position Summary The Ting Zhang Laboratory in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at WashU Medicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our research team. We develop and use novel platform that enables genome-wide identification of bacterial genes required for survival directly within infected hosts. This project combines bacterial genetics (inducible transposon mutagenesis), high-throughput sequencing, and animal models to generate comprehensive maps of bacterial genes that promote tissue-specific colonization and persistence.
