Job Description: DEPARTMENT: Student Health Center (SHC) BASIC FUNCTION : Provides nursing treatment for Fairfield University students; provides operational support within the Student Health Center; assists with health education for individual patients as well as health education outreach. UNUSUAL WORK CONDITIONS: Access to confidential medical information; ability to function during peak periods of demand for health care; exposure to all types of illnesses and blood borne pathogens. EDUCATION: Registered Nurse in CT; Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred. Continuing education in late adolescent issues. CPR certification is required. EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years nursing experience, demonstrated interpersonal skills. Emergency room experience helpful.…
