About this role
The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting scholar-athletes with the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; this includes both musculoskeletal injuries, as well as mild general medical illnesses/injuries. Additionally, the Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for tasks assigned by the Associate Athletic Trainer and/or Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine, such as the scheduling of pre-participation physicals, baseline neurocognitive exams, Federal Work Study Students, and other administrative tasks.
