Clinical Breast Navigator

Work Shift: JOB DESCRIPTION: Functions as a clinical navigator with a specific set of skills beyond licensure requirements to provide better patient care, quality, safety and informational accuracy for breast imaging care. This role will support the nurse navigator in their absence and provide oversight to the outside imaging consultation process. Ensures proper examination for the proper indication at the proper time. Vetting diagnostics. Ensure that all patient charts are accurate and investigated prior to appointments. Consult 2nd Opinion and Curbside requests. Ensures that all information and images are complete prior to submission to the radiologist. When imaging/reports are incomplete; oversees retrieval of missing items.
