About this role
Work Shift: Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)The Financial Counselor is responsible for evaluating and processing Financial Assistance Applications for medical services. This includes working with the patients and their families to determine their ability to pay, negotiate payment arrangements and/or administer state financial assistance programs, following the principles and guidelines of the Houston ASC Financial Assistance Policy. The financial counselor provides clarity for patients regarding their financial responsibilities, collections, assistance and/or resources available to assist patients with payment of their bills.…
