Work Shift: Primarily responsible for providing professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting. Primarily treats and transports the sick or injured. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare. Qualifications: A. Education & Training: High School graduate or GED equivalent. Completion of a vocational training program as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. B. Experience: None. C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current Georgia AEMT certification. Valid Georgia driver’s license. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. AHA/ARC PALS or PEARS certification within 9 months. CPT training within 9 months of hire.
