About this role
The Nido R. Qubein School of Communication is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach SPT 2269 Sports Announcing Practicum this spring. In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of sports announcing including play-by-play of live sporting events, sports talk shows, sports anchoring, and sports interviewing. Students will learn how to prepare for their announcing assignments by doing research, developing game notes and charts, incorporating anecdotal material, and using statistics and data. Students will also learn announcing techniques such as vocal control, tone, pacing, and the proper care of their voice.…
