The Department of Physics at High Point University invites applications for a department chair to begin August 2027. This is a 10-month, non-tenure track, open-rank position eligible for multi-year contract extensions and promotion to Associate or Professor ranks. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader and accomplished scholar who will guide a dynamic and collaborative department committed to excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and service. This role will oversee curriculum and program development, faculty and staff development, research initiatives, and student recruitment and success.
