Financial Accountant (German speaking)

The role is responsible for operational accounting activities for a German legal entity, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and related accounting tasks. The position supports the Finance Business Partner and contributes to monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in accordance with HGB. Key Responsibilities – Accounts Payable • Formal review of incoming invoices. • Account assignment and posting of incoming invoices, including accruals and deferrals. • Clarification of potential invoice differences with Purchasing. • Filing and archiving of incoming invoices in the document management system (DocuWare). • Maintenance of vendor master data. • Preparation and execution of payment runs. • Completeness checks.…
