Senior Staff Engineer for Magnetic / Layout Engineer / (Magnetic, PCB, Test & Measurement) Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Define and design planar transformer/magnetics requirements and implementations : derive turns ratio, inductances (Lm/Llk), flux density limits, core/material selection, operating frequency, insulation system, and temperature rise; model/simulate (FEM/analytical) core/copper/AC losses and leakage/stray capacitance; specify winding/PCB stack-up/via strategy and shielding to meet efficiency, EMI, isolation, and reliability targets. Design planar magnetics placement/return paths, optimize copper/vias for loss and thermals, and integrate cooling hardware (air/water), TIM, and isolation materials.…
