Registered Nurse Forensic Nurse Examiner

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. This position involves working one 1330-1400 shift and one 1900-0730 shift and requires an active Registered Nurse license with a minimum of one year of clinical experience. The nurse must have successfully completed the SANE/SAFE Project’s Comprehensive Sexual Assault Examiner Program, including the associated clinical skills lab, or an equivalent training program; prior forensic nurse examiner clinical experience is preferred.…
