About this role

The Pharmacy Technician will be required to perform various tasks within the Pharmacy Services including dispensing, preparation of drugs, compounding, repacking and counseling of customers regarding drug delivery devices to ensure the safe and effective dispensation of medication to the provision of health care. RESPONSIBLE FOR 1. Screening and order entry of prescriptions/drug charts 2. Confirming with doctors in the event of illegible handwriting, dosage/frequency/duration errors, or drug unavailability 3. Packaging, labeling, checking, and dispensing medications 4. Providing patient counseling when required 5. Compounding pharmaceutical products for extemporaneous use 6.
