Job Description: Recreational therapists, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, are assigned to evaluate and treat patients to achieve maximum level of leisure independence. Patients seen have a variety of limitations and the therapists use their skills to assist patients to their full rehabilitation potential. Education: Bachelor of Arts Recreational Therapy And/Or Certifications/Licensures: NCTRC - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or CBRPC - California Board of Recreation and Park Required BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification Required This position is funded for a period of up to two years from the incumbent’s date of hire and is eligible for benefits.…
