About this role
Job Overview To develop and maintain suppliers for all production parts in accordance to quality, cost and delivery requirements and to ensure continuous improvement of QDC, while reducing purchased – part cost by continually identifying and implementing cost reduction measures with suppliers and controlling inventory to meet current target levels – all the while adhering to the mandated goal to produce machines which meet or exceed the requirements of the design specification. Key Job Responsibilities Creates manual orders and/or review MRP generated orders (checking accuracy) promptly and ensure suppliers have acknowledged receipt of orders Follow up on orders to ensure that the materials are shipped and delivered as promised to avoid expediting and any production downtime.…
