About this role
Primary Duties Complies with all plant administrative rules. Complies with all applicable operating procedures. Obeys the plant safety rules. Operates automatic electrically / Hydraulic powered End Plate machine. Operates vice, press, and conveyors. Inspects ties to determine if each end requires gang nailsin accordance with customer specifications. Determines if a tie is salvageable or not. Maintains numerical count of gang nailed ties and reports data to supervisor. Performs preventive maintenance. Informs supervisor or maintenance personnel as to the need of major repairs and adjustments. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs all required SH&E responsibilities.
