About this role
The Toolroom Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing our Plastic Injection molds to support manufacturing and achieving quality standards.
Essential Functions
Ability to troubleshoot various issues on plastic components (Gas traps, voids, weld lines, pin push, etc.)
Must work shift hours 2:30pm to 11:00pm plus applicable Overtime when available.
Disassembles and assembles molds, analyzes and solves mold problems including flashing conditions, galling, venting, cooling problems, Assembles, repairs, inspects, cleans and polishes molds using skill and care while handling
Understand blueprints, sketches, general instructions to disassemble, inspect, repair, and assemble plastic injection molds…
