About this role
OVERVIEW The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist with preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications while ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Responsibilities include resolving insurance and prescription denials, managing inventory and cash funds, maintaining dispensing records, processing charges, and cleaning and sterilizing pharmacy equipment. Schedule: Full-Time Shift: Variable, as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoots all insurance/Rx denials. Maintains petty cash and change fund balances. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles/blister packs with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types labels for bottles/blister packs. Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
