About this role
OVERVIEW Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. May be required to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call. Schedule: PRN Shift: Variable, as needed ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures. Reviews patients’ clinical history ensuring that appropriate order placed and labs are within range as needed- reviewing with radiologist as necessary Provides patient education. Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform procedures. Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.…
