Position Summary: Performs set-ups, operations, and minor maintenance of one or more CNC machining centers. Has attained full proficiency in machining operations. Able to make adjustments and measure parts effectively within .001” Position Responsibilities: Perform machine set-up/changeover on CNC and/or manual mills, lathes, and drill presses to produce the required product or components by making offset adjustments to meet product specifications Perform first time set-up of equipment for new products through programming, tool setting, and offset adjustments. Must have good Quality awareness to identify discrepancies while machining. Perform manual production operations as required, e.g., load and unload parts, deburr and clean if necessary.…
