About this role
Responsible for performing complete operation checkout, modification, disassembly, repair, reassembly, test calibration, diagnosis, and correction of problems on company products using established procedures and technical specifications. Traces and tests components to locate defects using a variety of test equipment, including standard, bench-type, automatic test equipment and nonstandard, specialized measuring instruments. Compares test results with specifications and standards; records test results and data. Advises the business of recurring component failures.
