Job Description: Overview: The Survey Field Intern supports the survey crew in the successful completion of field assignments under the direction of the Party Chief. This role offers hands-on training in field survey techniques, equipment operation, and data collection, while developing skills needed for a career in land surveying. Responsibilities: ∙ Assist the survey crew with field tasks, including brush clearing, setting up tripods and prisms, and carrying the survey rod for staking. ∙ Load, unload, and maintain survey equipment and supplies for daily assignments. ∙ Set up back sights and operate survey instruments under supervision. ∙ Follow established safety and field procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.…
