Job Title: Medical Assistant Department: School Based Health Location: 500 Webster Ave, Rochester, NY 14609 Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: 7AM-3:30PM (School Days) SUMMARY: As a Medical Assistant, your excellent customer service and communication skills directly affect patient care as well as ensuring day to day office operations run smoothly. ​ RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Support Conduct pre-visit planning, close care gaps, and complete health maintenance and registry work. Obtain and document patient vital signs, history, and screenings; promptly report abnormalities. Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and collect/process specimens for external testing.
