Suffolk County Department of Public Works is seeking a Laboratory Technician to work at their West Babylon, NY lab. ** Please Note: The majority of work for this Laboratory Technician role will take place at Bergen Point in West Babylon, N.Y., dealing with Wastewater testing. Under direct supervision an employee in this class performs routine, entry level laboratory tests and assembles data on test results. The employee takes samples and performs tests pertaining to wastewater, water quality, mosquito identification, soil, concrete, etc. The employee may be assigned to a position in any one of several specialized fields.…
