About this role
Our Tailors work closely with Store Management and Sales Assistants to provide a positive, unique, fun shopping experience for our customers. The role of a tailor is primarily ensuring the proper fit, marking, altering, and pressing of garments.
Your typical day includes:
To adjust suits, coats, shirts and trousers. Included, but not limited to:
Shorten/lengthen sleeves
Taper sides of garments
Lower collars
Take in/out trouser waist
Shorten/lengthen trousers
Taper trouser thighs and foot widths
Ensure proper sizing of clients
Maintaining a clean and neat tailor shop
This job might be for you if you have:
Previous experience in alterations
Thorough knowledge of basic machines used in alterations
Proficient in sewing and making garments…
