Additional days may be available as needed by the facility. PURPOSE STATEMENT: The Pharmacy Technician provides support in carrying out the provision of pharmaceutical care including medication orders, billing, stock replacement and preparation of controlled drugs for pharmacist checking, filling patient medication bags or carts and delivering medication to units. Also includes purchasing, prepackaging medications, inventory control of all drug classes and automated dispensing cabinets equipment and inventory maintenance and discarding patient own medications.…
