Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Department of Biology at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD), invites applications from individuals using computational approaches to study fundamental questions in neuroscience for a tenure-track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Computational neuroscience is defined broadly; research areas of interest include: biophysical and statistical modeling, computational neurogenetics, neural population codes, and the intersection of biological intelligence and AI ("NeuroAI"). Preference will be given to applicants with computational research programs that integrate experimental data (including multi-modal data) to address important issues in basic and translational neuroscience.…
