About this role

As an integral part of the Health & Wellness team, this position supports physicians, nurse practitioners (or physician’s assistants), and nurses in the delivery of quality medical care and related administrative services. Duties/Responsibilities Direct Patient Care (60%) Performs patient check-in, vital signs, height, weight, medication reconciliation, allergy review, and documents past medical history. Clinical Care (15%) Perform a variety of clinical support functions, e.g., in-house point of care testing, administering immunizations, obtaining consent, EKGs, phlebotomy, wheelchair transport, crutch fitting, applying splints, peak flow measurement, spirometry, procedure set-up and assistance, inputting medical information in EMR, limited patient education, etc.…
