Job Description UW Facilities Maintenance & Construction has an outstanding opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic 2. About this opportunity Under the direction of the supervisor and lead, this position will perform journey-level construction work in one or more trade disciplines. Work involves assisting in multi-trade shop work to back up trades staffing as well as focusing on a specific shop trade where the position is assigned. The role requires a good working knowledge of multiple related skill fields such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sheet metal and/or sign shop.
