Job Summary: The Trauma Registrar Lead is responsible for data validation and quality improvement reporting for the Valley Children's trauma registry database. Responsible for preparing reports from the trauma registry for the purposes of internal reporting, oversight agency reporting, research, quality improvement & injury prevention activities. Organizes and collaborates with the County & State Emergency Medical Services & the American College of Surgeons National Trauma Data Bank and TQIP in cleaning, formatting & submitting data within the prescribed timelines & deadlines. Active participant in screening for quality indicators & filters & initiating & facilitating discussion about PI & PI loop closure in weekly Trauma PI meetings.…
