The Nursing Assistant Certified II (NAC II) works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in providing age specific direct patient care. This position ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent in the Medical Surgical Unit’s standards of care. The NAC II provides assistance to professional nursing personnel by performing tasks involving direct and indirect patient care, treatment and maintenance of the MSU. The NAC II is responsible for telemetry monitoring, admissions, discharges and ordering supplies for the MSU.
