About this role
Under general supervision, provides reference and readers advisory services; assists customers with specialized library operations; and performs other recurring Library duties. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assist patrons with information, education and recreational reading needs through reference and reader advisory services while utilizing basic search and retrieval skill. Sources of information may include print material, electronic research databases and community information sources or organizations. Negotiate patron account information, to apply library circulation policies and procedures, to perform standard data entry tasks utilizing automated circulation system; and ability to collect fines and fees through a cash management system.…
