About this role
The Role: The Assistant Mill Manager is responsible to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, provide product stewardship information and maintain the ISO management system for the Edmundston and Madawaska mills. Responsibilities: Ensure company-wide environmental compliance and identify areas for improvement. Develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies, policies and sustainability programs. Resolve environmental issues and establish preventive procedures. Maintain relationships with federal and provincial environmental authorities. Oversee and update the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) system. Screen new chemicals, trial memos and process changes for compliance. Provide guidance and data for Green Transformation Projects.…
