About this role

Job Description: NOTE: This role is based in New York City and encourages a minimum of two days per week in the SoHo office. Some roles or teams may require additional in-office attendance if the essential functions of the role require it. THE OPPORTUNITY With the support of Associate Production Director, the assistant production editor oversees about 45 per year fictional picture book titles, novelty titles in the Cartwheel line; and Spanish and school market editions of these formats. Published in hardcover or paperback and simultaneous ebook editions, these titles have short page counts and limited text, and are designed in-house. This assistant-level role collaborates with a small team of editors and designers and receives ongoing help from manager with challenges and issues.…
