[What the role is] As Singapore's lead planning agency for after-death facilities and services, NEA plays a critical role in ensuring that the after-death sector continues to meet Singapore's evolving demographic and societal needs. The Memorial Facilities Planning Division is responsible for developing policies and regulatory frameworks, planning after-death infrastructure and working closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders and the community to ensure that after-death services remain accessible, sustainable and responsive to changing needs.
