Senior Community Development & Planning Specialist

Suffolk County Government seeks highly motivated Senior level Urban Planners and Project Managers to join the Department of Economic Development & Planning. **Does related work as required. As a member of the Downtown and Transit-Oriented Development team the primary duties of the position include project management, including the day-to-day management of consultant teams, project deliverables and timelines; grant writing and management; ongoing communication with civic and community organizations; development of a thorough understanding of community needs and goals; and collaboration with local municipalities for technical assistance and project support.
